Eleven developers came together under the codename Imagine for a small and confidential technical project. Our aim was to create the most user-friendly web application within the Imagine Design Framework, one that would revolutionize the user experience of content management systems by allowing content to be consumed from a set of static web pages, accessible by a user, single-keystrokes, by starting to navigate, by clicking a button and more. The goal was to create a web app that was faster and more intelligent than anything existing at the time. With its power and compactness, Imagine was to become the software platform of the future. In hindsight, the web applications of today are extremely different from the most advanced pieces of software of the 1990s. The web is constantly evolving. Sites take on an ever greater role in our lives by offering us rich content. More and more people rely on sites to do business.
